Now I run the installer and it says I already have it and need to get rid of it, how do I do that now that it's gone? Really I am left with no clue about this Troopers mod. Maybe I just don't have errors before the crash.Īnyway I confirm that AlienSwarm, JungleWarfare, ShatteredOasis, AirBucanneers are all working. One weird thing is that I have no log file at all. Actually this is just a nice way to launch the commandĭesesperatly, I deleted some of the maps it was exporting before is crashed, but one again it changes nothing. I have modified the executable flag on TroopersLinux.sh, but it didn't change anything. It was a windows thing but thought it would work in linux. I tried uninstalling it, couldn't find the uninstall file, and read that it uses the unreal file structure or something, and all I needed to do to get rid of it manually was trash the /ut2004/troopers. You get a list of them in ~/.ut2004/System/ut2004.log.

When I removed these, the mods started properly. Turned out to be a bunch of dodgy custom maps throwing up warnings (not errors) when I started ut2004 normally. I had the same problem with troopers and alien swarm (another ut2004 mod). Last edited by Naib on Thu 11:35 pm edited 1 time in total I just installed it (cheers for pointing out its existance) and I had that same problem. Oh well if you ever have some other fresh ideas I have also check file permissions, tested with both zip and ut4mod archives.

I have modified my hosts file, I have no ipv6 support and the mod still refuses to launch. Thanks for your reply, unfortunatly it is still not working. Just some shots in the dark, but maybe something will help. I read it might also have to do with IPV6, if you have that enabled.
